Hola! TV takes stars to Panama, Ecuador

Following an active month of growth, premiering in Mexico and Colombia’s pay-TV arena, Atresmedia’s ¡Hola! TV will now air in Panama and reinforce its coverage in Ecuador.

Cable & Wireless Panama will add the celebrity network to its schedule, both in its basic package and its HD and direct-to-home (DTH) offers. In Ecuador, where it was already being broadcast through DirecTV, ¡Hola! TV has signed a new distribution deal with Univisa, through which the network will be now available in the cities of Quito and Guayaquil.

One year after launching, the network is available for 6.2 million subs in the Americas, being broadcast in the US and many Latin American countries.

Earlier this month, Atresmedia’s channel announced a distribution agreement with Televisa to enter Mexican market and with Claro to expand its coverage within the Colombian pay-TV market.

The channel’s programming is based on more than 500 hours of original productions a year as well as lifestyle and celebrity news programmes such as Mundo ¡Hola!, ¡Hola! Diario and En Exclusivo.
